Terms & Conditions

Insurance

Fully comprehensive insurance for the use in the UK is included within the hire charge. The insurance is only valid for the period of the hire. Insurance cover is for the vehicle and equipment only. Personal possessions are not covered; hirers are advised to take out holiday insurance.

Drivers

Anyone between the ages of 25-79 who has held the required license, for at least 2 years, and has current driving experience can drive our motorhomes. We will ask you to verify your license by sending a DVLA check code to us.

DVLA Check

You are allowed two 3 point offences, or single 4 or single 6 point offence with the codes SP,TS,CU. Any other convictions need to be referred to our insurance company. Please note you could lose your booking and full payment if this is not disclosed.

Security deposit

There is a £1000 security deposit which must be paid the day before you travel. Once you return the motorhome undamaged we will give the security deposit back (please allow 48hrs so we can fully check the vehicle and return the deposit).

Reservation

All reservations are to be made via the website.
The Booking Deposit is 20% and payable at the time of making a reservation, your booking will not be confirmed if the deposit is not paid. The Booking Deposit is non refundable.
The remaining balance is due for payment no less than 28 days to the commencement of Hire. The £1000 security deposit is due 24hrs before the hire date. You will need to send us a copy of your drivers license and 2 proofs of address, failing to do so could result in you hire being cancelled.

Mileage allowance

There is a 150 a day mileage allowance. Additional miles will be charge 40p a mile

Liability

The hirer shall be liable for all costs and expenses incurred for speeding, parking fines, congestion charges and for any other offences committed against the Road Traffic Act or traffic regulations.
The hirer is required to keep the motorhome under their control throughout the hire period. It must be locked at all times when unattended.

Fuel & Gas

There will be a full tank of fuel ready for your departure. You must return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel.
1 full gas cylinders will be supplied.

Pets

We allow well behaved dogs in the motorhome any damage caused by them will incur a cost.

Cancellations

If the hirer wishes to cancel 6 weeks before hire date we will give you a refund minus the 20% booking deposit. Less then 6 weeks you will lose the full hire amount.
We reserve the right to cancel the booking before commencement of hire if the named driver’s licences are invalid or do not comply with the requirements in the terms and conditions. In this case you will forfeit the booking deposit and hire charges already paid.

Collections and Returns

Vehicles are to be picked up at 2pm and dropped off at 11am. If you need to alter times please check BEFORE booking if this is possible, an addition charge may apply. Late returns will be charged at £50 for every hour it is late unless arranged prior. The hirer is responsible to return the vehicle clean and the contents free from any defect or damage and, the hirer is advised to check the vehicle thoroughly before leaving the Company’s premises.
Upon return we will check the vehicle for damage, cleanliness, particularly the windscreen which are not included in the Company’s insurance cover, any such damage is the hirer’s responsibility. Any evidence of smoking in the vehicles will result in a cleaning fee of £100 plus any items deemed to need replacing. The toilet cassette must be emptied before you return, failure to do so will result in a £25 charge.

Breakdown Cover

There is roadside breakdown cover. All details will be left in your welcome pack.

Smoking

You are not permitted to smoke in our vehicles. It is  against the law.

Agreement

By making a booking and paying a deposit the Customer/Hirer is entering into a contract with M3 Motorhomes Limited and agrees to abide by M3 motorhomes Limited Terms and Conditions.
